A TABLE
The invention relates to a table, such as a bedside table, comprising a worktop and a connected scissor extension which may be attached to a wall or similar support member, and wherein the worktop and support are displaceable in the horizontal plane.
Tables of this kind are used especially in relation to beds, sofas, chairs, etc., where a table is needed, which can be positioned appropriately in relation to the user and partly pushed away when the use is completed.
The prior art
Various types of tables of this kind are known, including bedside tables. One is a roller table with an outward facing plate that can be rolled into the bed and pushed away after use. This table takes up a lot of space and has the closest character to a sick table.
Another example is a bed-mounted stand with a swivel table top. An example of this is shown in EP22413A.
These known constructions have the disadvantage that the table is permanently fixed and thus in the way of bedding etc.
Purpose of production
The object of the invention is to remedy these shortcomings and disadvantages of the known tables, in particular bedside tables, and this is achieved according to the manufacture at a table where the underside of the worktop is coupled to the side edge of the scissor puller 2 2DK 2008 00099 U4 which can slide in a sliding rail which is placed on the underside of the worktop.
In this surprisingly simple way, a table top that can be moved to a bed, sofa or chair is obtained, with the possibility of returning the tabletop to the wall after use.
The table can thus be ironed completely from the point of use, and therefore it does not in any way interfere with the use of the bed, sofa or chair.
By using a scissor extract as support for the countertop, it is achieved that the support can be pushed together to a minimum extent and that it can also be extracted to the extent permitted by the number of joints in the scissor extract.
As defined in claim 2, the table top and scissors extension are pivotally attached to a wall or similar support member in a suspension bracket, it is achieved that the table can be easily placed within the range of the support.
As defined in claim 3, the table top and scissors extension can be raised and lowered in the suspension bracket, the possibility of height adjustment is obtained.
Finally, as claimed in claim 4, it is expedient for the outermost of the table top to be folded down when the table is in its jammed position near the wall. This is achieved by the table top being provided with a flap which, when viewed in relation to the table in its suspended state, can be folded down when the scissors pull-out is slid, the scissor pull can slide into a sliding rail which is placed on the underside of the flap and hinged to the sliding rail. on the underside of the worktop.

Description of an embodiment The drawing shows a table comprising a table top 3 of a support 2, which support is movable both in the horizontal plane and optionally in the vertical plane.
The table is shown in its position of use in fig. 1, where the table top 3 is placed over a bed or sofa 8. This is just an example and could of course be a chair instead.
The table top 3 can have any conceivable dimension and shape, taking into account that it can function as a table.
The support 2 is formed as a scissor extension, which, as shown, consists of lattice pieces 6 which are housed at both the ends and at the center of the bearing pin 7.
The table top 3 is provided on the underside with a slide rail 5 or the like, so that the outermost parts of the scissors extension can be displaced under the table top by extension and compression.

Scissor extract 2 can be made of different materials, such as wood, plastic or metal, depending on the style in which the table is to be fitted.

A table, such as a bedside table, comprising a countertop and a pair of scissors extension (2) which may be attached to a wall (1) or similar support member and wherein the countertop (3) and the support (2) are slidable in the horizontal plane which is new in that the underside of the worktop (3) is coupled to the side edge of the scissor puller (2) which can slide in a slide rail (5) arranged on the underside of the worktop (3).
